Every photo tells a story, here are my art stories
When the passion starts to feel a little quieter and work begins to take over my mind, I like to step back and find ways to reignite my creativity. For me, that looks like creating just for the sake of creating...dreaming up creative shoots that tell stories, explore ideas, and remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
This shoot was inspired by the mirror sitting on the easel in the studio.

Lately, I’ve heard so many women say the same thing: I think about my body every single day.
For so many women, body image and the pursuit of perfection are stories we all know too well. We live in a world that constantly asks us to perform. Social media has become a place where we’re surrounded by perfectly curated versions of people’s lives and bodies.
And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that body image isn’t something you simply “grow out of.” If anything, it finds new ways to show up as your body, your life, and your seasons change. When I look back, I don’t know if there’s been a day where I haven’t thought about my body. There are women everywhere standing in front of mirrors, critiquing themselves, counting calories, comparing their bodies, wishing they looked different.
Maybe for you it’s perfectionism. The constant feeling that you should be doing more, being more, achieving more.
The vision for this shoot came from the mirror @afternoonsstudio, propped on an easel. It immediately made me think about how often we try to paint an image of ourselves that feels more acceptable, more beautiful.
But your worth was never meant to be measured by your waist size, the tag in your jeans, the number on a scale, or how smooth your skin looks in the right lighting. The things that make you beautiful cannot be bought, edited, or filtered. Your kindness and compassion. The way you make people feel. The way you love others.
My goal with photography has always been to capture memories that people can hold onto forever. But something that’s become just as important to me is remembering that photography is art. It’s a way to tell stories. So if this resonates with you… know you are beautiful. You are deeply loved. And I hope, the next time you look in the mirror, you see yourself through the eyes of the One who created you, not through the impossible standards of the world.
My branding & the story behind it.

Behind us, and behind the years of our lives, are generations of stories. One of the greatest sources of inspiration for me has always been my grandparents, not only the photography, art, fashion, and effortless feeling of their generation that I’m endlessly jealous of, but the stories held inside their photo albums. The homes, the clothes, the little in-between moments… I could spend hours looking through my Nana’s albums. For my branding, I wanted to turn that inspiration into something tangible, so I created a canvas filled with some of my favorite photographs from her albums alongside all the little things that inspire me creatively. It’s essentially one big art project, a collection of the people, photographs, eras, and feelings that have shaped the way I see and create. And a special thank you, to my grandpa who gave me my first camera when I was 11. I feel like I wouldn't be here without him and that moment.

Posing & Props to create intentional photos, not just trending instagram posts
I don’t believe a photoshoot should be about becoming someone you’re not. It should bring you back to who you are: what you love, what inspires you, and what makes your story yours.
I’ll guide you through posing with intention, creating movement, connection, and moments that feel natural. Some of my favorite photographs happen in the in-between, the laugh between poses, the quiet moments, the things you do without thinking. I’m always watching for those.
I also love using meaningful props and details to bring your story to life, too. Photography may feel like one big trend right now, but I never want your photos to feel like they belong to someone else. I want them to feel like you: intentional, honest, imperfect, and full of feeling.
Because years from now, I don’t want you to look at your photographs and think, “That was such a beautiful trend.” I want you to think, “That was us.”
